You’ve heard so many stories about people who have been positively transformed by a tragic event or involuntary change. It’s as though loss flipped on a light switch for them, and they were filled with purpose and determination that sliced through their grief and put them on a path to better, more meaningful lives. You want to believe that the same is possible for you, but it’s hard to imagine, because you’re stuck in a fog of grief that’s so dense, you can’t even see far enough in front of you to take one step. When you’re struggling just to make it through the day, meaning and purpose seem well beyond your reach. Or perhaps you sense that you’re growing and evolving in the wake of your loss, but you can’t put your finger on how. This lack of clarity has you spinning your wheels, so you’re stuck. You just want to feel better. Purposeful. Hopeful. You want to look back and know that you’ve made it to the other side of grief.

THAT’S WHERE I COME IN.

Together, we will map out your unique strategy for coping with your grief and moving forward with your life.

We’ll start where you are, and uncover what’s standing in your way.

You’ll get clear on what you really want and value, and we’ll translate this newfound clarity into practical action steps so that you can finally feel like you’re moving in the right direction, evolving into a better, stronger version of yourself after loss.

We’ll work together in one-on-one coaching sessions once a week for 12 weeks. Sessions typically happen over the phone or video chat, but I am happy to do in-person sessions if you’re local. In a private, one-on-one coaching setting, you’ll be fully supported and free to express yourself without judgment. Before each session, I’ll send you a few questions to help you sort through your thoughts, so that you get the most value possible out of each session. When each session is over, I’ll send you a worksheet so you can record your key takeaways. You will have unlimited email support from me for the full 12 weeks.

frequently asked questions

Q: Do you offer a payment plan?
A: Yes! While the most cost-effective option is to pay in full, I recognize that cash flow can be an issue. If you’d prefer a payment plan, we can discuss this during your free consultation.

Q: After my free consultation, if I decide that I want to sign on as a client, can I do a shorter version of your program, with fewer than 12 sessions?
A: No. In order to do the deep, meaningful and intensive work that coaching requires, 12 sessions gives us a much greater chance of success.

Q: I’m suffering from depression/anxiety/PTSD/other mental health disorders. Can you help me?
A: Coaching is not therapy, and I am not a mental health professional. I will not be able to diagnose or treat a mental health disorder. As a life coach, I believe that grief is not inherently dysfunctional. However, the shock of going through a loss can trigger previously unknown mental health issues, which would need the attention of a mental health professional. That said, it’s possible for us to still work together, once you are seeking the appropriate help. Coaching can be a wonderful complement to therapy, but does not replace it. For more about the differences between coaching and therapy, click here.

Q: I’m already in therapy. Do I need coaching too?
A: Among other things, therapy delves into the past to help heal dysfunction. Coaching focuses on the present and the future. I think that you will benefit greatly from this coaching program even if you’re already under the care of a therapist. Please feel free to discuss this option with your therapist.

Q: I have more questions. How do I get in touch with you?
A: The best way to get in touch with me is to email me at gabi@griefgraceglory.com.
